This category recognizes voice actors who have established a wide body of professional work (work for hire) over a career of not less than 15 years. The entry should be no more than 20 minutes in duration, and where no single work sample exceeds 3-minutes. The work may span all voiceover genres: commercials, animation, promos, narration, video games, trailers, corporate, audiobook, consumer sales videos, live announcing, instructional, and other areas. The elements entered can be audio and/or video. There are no restrictions as to when any of the original work was created. The works will be judged by a media expert who is fluent in the language of the entry. (Works may be submitted in the classical Arabic language and regional dialects; Egyptian, Saudi, Moroccan, etc.) There are no restrictions as to when any of the original work was created, but all work must be “work for hire” and NO DEMO WORK may be included. |

This category is limited to any audio or video production that demonstrates the abilities of a voice actor to perform in the “COMMERCIAL” genre. COMMERCIAL is defined as the advertising of product or service categories, e.g., auto, retail, pharmaceuticals, food, financial services, etc. The elements of the Demo may consist of both work for hire, as well as “spec work”, where “spec” refers to work produced for demonstration purposes only. PROMO work samples ARE NOT ELIGIBLE in this category. PROMO is defined as promoting media programming (TV, radio, web theatrical, live events), where time and/or date of the programming may be a key element of the ad. Entrants may submit a full or edited segment of the Demo up to but not exceeding two (2) minutes in duration. This category recognizes voice actors who provide dubbing for TV, Film or streaming, by replacing dialogue as a means of translating the original work, into a different language, and where the added language (translation) of the original dialogue is carefully matched to the lip movements of the on-camera actors. It is understood that dubbed soundtracks do not match exactly to the original sound tracks, but the quality of both acting and lip synch will be considered as major components of the overall performance and production. Voice actors in this category should identify their performance by the name of the character played. Entrants may submit an unedited scene from the work not exceeding 5 minutes in duration. Only voice actors are eligible for award consideration. The works in this category may include subtitles. Subtitles will have no bearing on judging the voice actor’s performance. If more than one character is shown in the submission, the entrant must identify their role by start time, character name, and visual description, e.g., “22 seconds, Princess Leia, woman in white gown.” The work must be publicly distributed within the eligibility period. | تُكرِّم هذه الفئة الممثلين الصوتيين الذين يضطلعون بالإحلال الصوتي () التلفزيونية أو السينمائية أو أعمال البث الرقمي، عبر استبدال الحوار الأصلي بآخر بغية ترجمة العمل الأصلي إلى لغة جديدة، مع اشتراط المطابقة الدقيقة بين الحوار المُضاف () شفاه الممثلين الظاهرين على الشاشة. المعلوم أن المادة الصوتية المُدبلجة قد لا تطابق المادة الأصلية تمام المطابقة، غير أن جودة الأداء التمثيلي ومستوى تطابق حركات الشفاه هما حجري الأساس في تقييم الأداء والإنتاج برمته. للممثلين الصوتيين في هذه الفئة الإشارة إلى اسم الشخصية لتعيين الأدوار التي قاموا بأدائها. للمشترك تقديم مشهد كامل ( معدل)من العمل لا تتجاوز مدته خمس (). النظر في الترشح للجائزة ضمن هذه الفئة على الممثلين الصوتيين دون سواهم. تشتمل المُقدَّمة في هذه الفئة على ترجمة نصية مصاحبة للصورة، هذه الترجمة لن تؤثر على تقييم أداء الممثل الصوتي البتة. تضمن العمل المُقدَّم أكثر من شخصية، فعلى المشترك أن يبين دوره بتحديد توقيت بدء ظهور الشخصية، واسمها، ووصف دقيق لها، مثال: الثانية 22، الأميرة ليا، سيدة ترتدي ثوباً أبيض". أن يكون العمل قد عُرض للجمهور خلال فترة الأهلية وحتى الحادي والثلاثين ٣١ من أغسطس/آب من العام الجاري ٢٠٢٤ |

This category recognizes voice actors who provide dubbing for TV Film or Series, by replacing dialogue as a means of translating the original work, into a different language, and where the added language (translation) of the original dialogue is carefully matched to the lip movements of the actors in the film. Dubbed sound tracks rarely equal the artistic quality of original language sound tracks, but the quality of both acting and lip synch will be considered as the major components of the overall performance. Voice actors in this category should identify their performance by the name of the character played. Entrants may submit an unedited scene from the work not exceeding 5 minutes in duration.
